Java Software Engineers
Positions are available for junior and senior level Java software developers. Applicants should have experience in one or more of the following areas: Jini, JNI, Embedded and Personal Java, Java RTOS implementations such as OS-9 and VxWorks.

Technical Customer Support Manager
The successful candidate will manage and optimize the performance of a Customer Representative team in areas that include customer satisfaction, technical expertise, and timeliness. Involves individual coaching sessions and communicating competitive technical strategies, competitive support strategies, industry trends, and new products to your team. Qualifications include 3+ years demonstrated people management experience, preferably in a related product/customer support environment; understanding of product release cycle, thorough knowledge of support policies and procedures and ability to influence other levels of management in a matrixed environment; ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations; knowledge of Java (and other programming languages), Embedded Systems, ASIC design and the Wireless industry; BA/BS required (MBA preferred).

Technical Writer
The successful candidate will possess excellent skills in writing conceptual and procedural software and hardware documentation (printed and on-line). Responsibilities include researching, writing, and editing technical documentation for both printed and online (CD-ROM, Help, and Web) delivery, create new documentation, update existing documentation, and produce Help, define documentation plans and ensure the development and delivery of quality documents in a timely manner. Candidate's knowledge base should include one or more of the following: Java, Bluetooth, embedded systems and ASIC design. The candidate must be detail oriented, self-directed, energetic, flexible, and have proven ability to multitask, solve problems creatively, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. This position requires a minimum of 2+ years' experience in software/hardware technical writing and an undergraduate degree in Computer Science.

Field Applications Engineer (hardware/software)
The successful candidate will provide post-sales technical support for Zucotto’s Xpresso™ chipset and related products. The Field Support Engineer will closely interact with customers to provide problem relief and information on the use of the Jacknife™ development environment and Xpresso integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling and tracking customer problems/inquiries to a satisfactory resolution, understanding and debugging customer-provided test cases, generating test cases for problems, conducting on-site investigation/resolution of problems when appropriate, providing customers with instructions on using/integrating the Zucotto end to end solution, conferring with field Sales staff to prioritize work, and conducting on-site installation and training for products. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge in hardware and software integration - specifically in Java. The candidate will have an acute awareness and problem solving ability directly related to embedded systems.

Firmware Engineer
Junior and Senior level candidates are sought to develop software for embedded systems and firmware for Zucotto's SLICE line of products. Qualifications are 3-5 years of microprocessor assembly-level firmware development, a basic understanding of hardware, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience with an embedded processor, such as a StrongARM, is a definite asset.

Software Engineer
An intermediate level candidate is sought to develop PC software for Zucotto's SLICE line of products. Qualifications are 3-5 of software development using the Win32 API, familiarity with multi-threaded developments and GUI applications. Experience with Java and embedded systems are a definite asset.

Software Engineer
Zucotto seeks a intermediate or senior engineer to develop software for Zucotto's SLICE line of products. This position requires a track record in successfully integrating software onto embedded platforms. It also requires experience with embedded development process and debugging techniques.

Communications Engineer
We seek a communication engineer with 4-5 years of experience in developing data communication products and embedded software. The candidate should be very familiar with OOP and have a track record in the design, implementation and testing of data protocols.

Verification Engineer
We seek a software quality assurance engineer to be responsible for developing test plans,executing testcase and documenting the results while working closely with development engineers. The SQA engineer will execute the test cases with a focus on finding major/minor bugs as early as possible in both functional test and systems test environments.The selected candidate must have experience with developments processes in the context of large software teams.

DSP Engineer
We are looking for a DSP software engineer to join a team working on a rapid development program, introducing signal processing features to a wireless product. Your responsibilities will cover a full cycle design, from requirement, through specification to implementation and support of field introduction. Ideally you will have experience of developing in wireless systems, particularly on mobile devices.
